He is right, he just don't know what is it.

The colors are saturating the texture on that third kit, first I thought it was because you indexed it but I see it's not indexed.

So I'm sure it's layers config (the 3 texture method), and also the black tone together that caused that.

You have to what for that, it's easy to happen if you don't take care of those two elements.
