Dan, I have a question for you:
Is it possible to make a kit without sleeves? (type singlet, like Cameroun had many years ago).
Once, I forgot to make the armband of captain for a kit, and the player looked in game without the arm. Therefore, I think that it can't be made but I wanted an your opinion.

It's not possible Eddy, the players don't have a full arm under the sleeves. Plus, that uniform was forbidden shortly after they released it by FIFA and they used a t-shirt under it in the 2002 WC.

Try putting a full transparent image as the kit and look in-game, you'll see that the areas that are present under the kit texture are very limited.

A sleeveless kit would only be possible by using a 3D model that included the full 3D arms, but as far as I know that does not exist for PES6.
