Eddy yo concuerdo con pesecito, Italia es una gran selección en mi opinión, tiene grandes jugadores y puede lograr lo mismo que hizo en el 2006.

Of course Italy is a great team, that's not the point...

Every team has 'the' generation from time to time, and in 2006 we had 'it'. You can't compare the current squad to that one, no matter what they win.

We had so many living legends in that period, and all of them in the best years of their carriers, we had the right Italian spirit in and outside the pitch, we had mister Lippi (best coach ever imo), and very importantly, we didn't had some mediocre players in the squad like we have now and we didn't had a coach who is FIGC's dog. Back in 2006 the team was solid as a rock.

I know you guys don't follow Italy like me and Eddy, that's why I think you just don't get what he said.

Lo que me pone nervioso de la seleccion italiana, es que puede hacer un gran partido contra Brasil, y despues, puede perder contra San Marino (con el debido respeto a San Marino).

Encuentro que Italia es un excelente equipo. Y lo mejor es que cuando nadie da un dólar por una buena actuación de Italia, hacen campañones, como en España 82 o Alemania 2006. Y ese kit 2006 es precioso.
