Hi! I’ve been experimenting with y)the Leagues Size Module together with Cheat Engine, and I think I may have found a possible way to use more than 20 teams in a league without modifying the league team-selection screen itself.
Here is what I currently have and what I’ve tested:
I have identified the Cheat Engine addresses corresponding to the 20 team slots used by the League team-selection screen.
I can also modify the league team count with Cheat Engine.
The module can configure a league with 22 teams and generate the corresponding 42-matchday calendar correctly.
However, when PES6 enters the League team-selection screen with 22 teams, the screen becomes corrupted / unusable, and I cannot press OK to continue.
If I temporarily change the team count from 22 back to 20 with Cheat Engine, I can enter the league normally. The calendar generated by the module is still correctly configured for 42 matches.
So it seems that the main problem may be the League team-selection interface itself, rather than the league/calendar structure.
I also experimented with switching between League and Cup mode with Cheat Engine.
The Cup selection screen can handle more than 20 teams, but changing from Cup back to League does not transfer the selected Cup teams into the League team slots correctly. The League team slots appear empty, and trying to continue can also cause a crash. This makes me think the League and Cup selection screens may use different internal team arrays/structures.
My idea is therefore slightly different from trying to make the League selection screen support 22 teams.
What if the module could define the participating teams externally, for example:
League = Spain
Number of teams = 22
Team 1 = ID xxx
Team 2 = ID xxx
...
Team 22 = ID xxx
Player-controlled team = ID xxx
Then, when I select the Spanish League in PES6, the module would automatically write those team IDs into the League's internal team slots and bypass the League team-selection screen completely.
In other words, instead of making the existing selection screen work with 22 teams, the module would do what I normally do manually in that screen:
Set the number of teams.
Put the desired team IDs into the league team slots, in the desired order.
Set which team is controlled by the player.
Mark the team selection as completed.
Skip the team-selection screen and continue directly to the League main screen.
Since the module already seems capable of preparing the 22-team league structure and calendar, perhaps it would only need to initialize the team IDs and whatever flag/state PES6 uses after pressing OK on the normal team-selection screen.
For example, the configuration could theoretically look something like:
teams=22
team01=101
team02=145
team03=87
...
team22=163
playerteam=7
I don’t know whether PES6 actually stores all of this in one simple structure, of course. This is just my idea based on what I have found with Cheat Engine.
Maybe this gives you an idea of another possible way to bypass the 20-team limitation without having to modify the actual League selection interface.

¡Hola!
League = Spain
Number of teams = 22
Team 1 = ID xxx
Team 2 = ID xxx
...
Team 22 = ID xxx
Player-controlled team = ID xxx
teams=22
team01=101
team02=145
team03=87
...
team22=163
playerteam=7
