Bigger does not mean better.
The biggest reason I don't like 1024x is because all the PES6 graphics use small textures, boots, faces, gloves, skin, so having an HD texture in the middle of all this makes no sense to me visually, I like the balance of having everything in the same 'feel' and look. Hope you get what I mean.
A second (and less important) reason is 1024x kits are heavier and many people/patches re-size them to 512x and end up killing a lot of the details etc and I wouldn't want me kits to end up like that.
So put these together and you have why 512 is much, much better for PES6. :22:
